In addition to co-managing 2R Properties, Will Monto has been an expert in the appraisal industry for almost 20 years, specializing in machinery and equipment valuations. His appraisals have been used for asset-based financing, mergers and acquisitions, tax and litigation support. During his career, he led the appraisal work for one of the largest asset-based lending deals in Canada. Will specializes in complex and analytical appraisal problems on projects where there is a lack of comparable sales data or where equipment has not been sold in a traditional sense, such as waste water treatment plants. He has worked jointly to value rocket launch pads for tax purposes, infrastructure-type projects including waste water treatment plants, and complex integrated process or chemical plants. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers in the Machinery & Technical Specialties discipline and is a member of the ASA’s Long-Island Chapter. Mr. Monto has also completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) coursework. He obtained a B.S. in Business Management from the State University of New York – Stony Brook. Will enjoys his family and friends, and has been actively investing in Long Island Real Estate for several years now.
Ralph Rivera
Ralph is a real estate professional with over 30 years of experience in single family residential, multi-unit residential, and the commercial space. As an active investor over the years, he has been involved in numerous projects in New York, Florida, and Texas in the form of acquisition, renovation, and resale.
With a heavy focus on the New York and Tri-state area, Ralph has also amassed extensive experience with the NYC Department of Housing and Community Renewal, NYC Housing Authority, the Realty Advisory Board, Suffolk County Housing (CDCLI), and a variety of housing and construction related unions. Having held top-level positions with Vantage Properties and the Jack Parker Company overseeing more than 1000 units at any given time, he also has a solid foundation of knowledge in property management.
Ralph and Will are Partners at 2R Properties. Combined they have years of experience investing in Residential Real Estate. Ralph started his career managing thousands of units of apartment and commercial buildings for some of the largest real estate holders in the country. Will started his career as an accredited personal property appraiser. Together, they provide their broad range of knowledge and customer-focused solutions to the local Long Island Real Estate market. In 2023 they added a new member to the team, Milly. Milly supports Will and Ralph administratively and is also an experienced real estate property manager.
